New York City Series III - Battery Park and Statue of Liberty..

The way
we should follow.
The sign..
View all 18 photos...
Note: Battery Park is where you could see the Statue of Liberty from. But it'll be very far away a view. Even zooming won't take you to the Statue clearly. You have to get on a boat. Too bad, it was under construction when I reached there recently thus closed for visitors. But don't worry, you can have a good view of the Statue from Mok Nik's fotopages: (sorry Mok Nik for not asking your permission. Take this as a promo!) New York City Series I - Bryant Park (A park within the City)

going the way we should.....
seeing the Sign we shall do..
taking a deep breath mesmerized by the green...
View all 12 photos...
Note: My fourth time in NYC but everytime I go there, it'll be like a new experience - seeing things I've never seen before or at least things that I had seen but I tend to just ignore their details. That's special about NYC, a city that never fails to attract people. From Boston to NYC, it'll take only 5 hours by bus ($35) or if you could afford flying (minimum $150-$300 subject to airlines and seasons), you'll be there within 75 minutes.

1st angle: sunbathing... a must do thing for new yorkers

2nd angle: wish I could join them but I'd risk roasting up my skin...

wow! sunbathing in the midst of skyscrapers...what a view u have here Thu 9-Jun-2005 11:25

A Trip to Provincetown, MA

In front of ticketing booth...
The harbor near the Acquarium T station for the boat to PT
can't you see the boat?
View all 42 photos...
Where it is : At the tips of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
How to go there: By car or boat
Note: On our way back from Provincetown, we were hit by strong sea waves and turbulent weather causing the boat to swerve left and right, climbing up and down the rough seas for almost 2 hours, making almost everyone of us suffering from seasick almost instantly! The boat was badly shaken we thought it was going to capsize. It was so cold outside then, if anyone of us got thrown into the sea, he or she wouldn't survive. It was a sure death for us if the tragedy did happen. Luckily we could brave the storm to the harbor. Gosh...even my parents did not know about this! I just didn't want them to worry. The most important thing is I'm still alive and you'll get to see the pictures!!

    Look at our boat!

Am taking a break...it's my Birthday Party.....(oh..I'm so old)

with the whole group...
Kaori, me and Leo
me and the girls- Kaorue, Doris and Linchee
View all 13 photos...
Venue: Kapow, Babcock St. Boston
Note: This was the best ever birthday celebration for me and I was so deeply touched by their efforts in making the event so memorable to me. I could still remember, as we were talking, suddenly the lights were dimmed and out of nowhere the restaurant workers brought the cake and sang "happy Birthday" song. It was a truly lovely moment! Thank you friends, I love you all... Can't wait to know my age ya? (heheheh) I'm an old man, trust me!

I've never expected them to come up with this gorgeous cake...

    I wish....I could....stay young forever hehehe

    I like this cute card
